Meaning of the Lucky Cat
The Maneki Neko, or Japanese lucky cat, is a Japanese symbol of good fortune that represents prosperity, happiness, and success to its owner. The Maneki Neko's raised hand is an inviting gesture, inviting good luck and prosperity to enter the home or business. If the cat raises its right paw, it attracts wealth. The coin, also called Koban, represents fortune and wealth. It is often seen with the inscription "sen man ryo," which means 10,000,000 ryo, a great fortune (千万両).The bell hangs around the Maneki Neko's neck to ward off evil spirits and bad luck. Decay & Honey, inspired by Japanese culture, combined the cat, the raised hand, the coin, and the bell, which reinforce this meaning, and created this beautiful amulet ring to wear safely and proudly. Warning! dh is not responsible for the abundant wealth and prosperity that will come to you by wearing this ring.
